Czech Republic

Experience the Czech Republic!

The traditional crossroads of Europe, the Czech Republic is remarkably preserved in both its cities and beautiful countryside. With some of the most open-minded people in Europe it was the home of the bohemian lifestyle, and remnants of this still remain in the attitude of the Czech people. Some of Europe’s best architecture is found in Prague, since it was so well preserved throughout history. Outside of Prague the countryside is full of farms, forests, ponds, villages and hills that shelter castles. Its cuisine is Germanic at its roots, with meat-based dishes served with dumplings, potatoes or rise. Gregor Mendel, the “father of genetics” is Czech, as well as Madeleine Albright, the first female Secretary of State for the United States.
