Chile
Experience Chile!
Chile has more than half of South America’s pacific coastline and is one of the world’s longest countries. Because of the length of the country, culture, landscape and wildlife are extremely varied; flamingos love the dry, hot north while penguins colonize at the southern tip of Chile. There are many festivals throughout the year, including the very popular Dia de la Raza. Meaning “Day of the Race,” it celebrates the Hispanic heritage of Latin America and its discovery by Christopher Columbus. Chile is the birthplace of Pablo Neruda inspiring the nickname “land of poets.” There is sure to be much to inspire you as you explore all Chile has to offer.
