Between Europe and Africa, Spain has a fascinating culture than incorporates many different influences. The four languages and seven dialects that are spoken in the 17 political regions, along with differing cuisines, lifestyles and local customs make Spain a fascinating country to visit. While Spanish is spoken throughout the country, you might also learn the dialect of your host family’s region. Roman, Islamic and Gothic inspiration is found in the architecture across Spain, and the music ranges from dramatic flamenco to heart-rending Celtic music.
